      • Year 1

        Assigned to the Functional Chemicals Sec. #2, Chemical Products Div., Trade Div. (currently the Functional Materials Dept.)

        Engaged mainly in import and export trade operations between Japan and China in the fine chemicals field.

      • Year 3

        Assigned own customer accounts and entrusted with sales targets as a sales representative.

      • Year 1

        Assigned to the Sales Development Sec., Sustainability & Innovation Div.

        Responsible for technology licensing and the export sales of Japanese products to China. Conducted market research and gathered information in both Japan and China to support business development. Following contract execution, also engaged in on-site operations, including providing interpretation for Japanese manufacturers during equipment commissioning at customer plants in China.

        Transferred to the Regulatory Affairs Section, Pharmaceutical & Health-care Dept., Trade Div.

        Transferred to the Regulatory Affairs Section, Pharmaceutical & Health-care Dept., Trade Div. when a position became available, as the role closely matched the employee's area of expertise and career aspirations.

      2011: Career hire

      • Year 1

        Joined the company as a sales clerk in the Chemical Products Department of the Trade Division

      • Year 3

        Switched to a sales position

        His work was highly praised by those around him, and he moved to a sales position. He started out as a route salesman for existing products, building trust through repeated communication with customers and gradually expanding his scope of responsibility.

      • 7th year

        Promoted to Specialist Section Chief

        In recognition of his outstanding individual achievements, he was promoted to specialist section chief.

      • 10th year

        Changed course to line manager

        He was transferred to a management position responsible for training subordinates and managing operations, and was appointed manager of Functional Chemicals Division 2.

      • 15th year

        Promoted to department manager

        He was promoted to general manager in recognition of his significant expansion of the division's performance, and now leads the Functional Materials Department, which consists of three people: two sales representatives and one assistant.

        Engaged in the NEDO project "Technology development for paraxylene production using CO2 as raw material"

      • 4th year

        Promoted to Specialist Section Chief

        He is the leader of the project "Technology development for the production of paraxylene using CO2 as a raw material."

      • 6th year

        Appointed as Line Manager

        In addition to project development, he leads a team of seven researchers responsible for the development of existing and new catalysts.
